Whale and Dolphin Watching

One of the best activities to do on the island! For half a day we will be in the company of dolphins and watch some of the largest whales in the world, while enjoying a unique boat trip. It is often possible to observe turtles, and other marine species. Before starting the boat trip, biologists explain some details about the species of cetaceans that you can see, talk about safety measures on board and also how to respect animals and the rules of observation at sea.

Between June and September, it is possible to visit and swim in the islet of Vila Franca do Campo, one of the best bathing areas on the island of São Miguel.
