São Miguel East tour – Lagoa das Furnas

The tour on the east side of the island of S. Miguel provides the opportunity to explore the most active geothermal park in the Azores, Furnas. The visit begins with the only tea factory and plantation in Europe and with a stop at the waterfall of Ribeira dos Caldeirões. For lunch the group will taste a stew prepared on the volcanic soil, then visit the Terra Nostra Park and relax in the hot water thermal pools.
